Pokecut is a photo editor owned by Pixl Concerto, a Hong Kong company working in imaging and video processing. It launched in November 2024 and has added a feature every few months since: AI backgrounds in May 2025, text-to-image and image-to-image in July, batch editing in August, portrait, body and hairstyle filters in February 2026 and an infinite canvas in April. Day to day it covers background removal and replacement, a magic eraser, photo enhancement, image extension, ID photos, collages and generators for images and emoji. It runs on the web and as iOS and Android apps, with AI work metered in credits.
The pricing page renders its figures client-side and served us none, so no entry price is recorded. The structure is visible: a free tier with starter credits, a Pro plan carrying 800 credits a month behind a 3-day trial (200 credits up front, 600 after), a Premium plan at 1,500 credits a month, yearly billing advertised as up to 60% cheaper, and separate one-off credit packs. Paid tiers unlock the Nano Banana Pro model.
Use tool ↗For everyday e-commerce and social edits Pokecut covers a lot of ground for the money, and the release history shows real momentum rather than a parked wrapper. The annoyance is the credit model on top of a subscription, and a pricing page that will not show a number without a live browser session.
Watch out: The Pro trial hands over 200 credits up front and withholds the remaining 600 until the 3-day trial converts, so cancelling early costs you most of the allowance.
