What our research says

OnDemand

OnDemand is a genuine infrastructure play, backed by Core42 and running since mid-2024, aimed at teams that want to compose AI agents from a model and agent marketplace instead of building agent infrastructure from scratch. The lack of any public pricing page is the main practical obstacle to evaluating it without signing up or talking to sales.

Pros

  • Backed by an established regional AI infrastructure group (Core42/G42)
  • Supports hosted, proprietary and bring-your-own models and private inference
  • Agent marketplace, visual flow builder and MCP tool connections in one workspace
  • Identifiable operator registered in Dubai, plus companion mobile apps

Cons

  • No public pricing page; plans appear only after sign-in
  • The public site is a script-rendered app, so feature details are hard to check without an account
  • Broad 'agent operating system' scope means a long evaluation for a simple use case

Relevance AI

A credible no-code agent builder with a wide library of ready-made sales and ops agents, but the free tier is gone and the self-serve prices live on a docs page while the marketing site pushes everyone to a sales call. The two-meter billing — Actions plus pass-through Vendor Credits — makes running cost hard to forecast, and the $19 annual Pro plan only covers one project and two builders.

Pros

  • Agents get tools, knowledge and schedules without any code
  • Large library of pre-built agents for sales, support, HR and ops that can be customised
  • Model cost is passed through on vendor credits rather than marked up
  • Agents can be grouped into teams that hand work between each other

Cons

  • No free plan any more, only paid Pro and Team or an Enterprise quote
  • Two simultaneous meters make budgeting awkward and surprises likely
  • Top-up rates are steep at $80 per 1,000 actions
  • Pro is limited to one project and two build users, so a second workspace means the $349 Team plan

Which one fits

Choose OnDemand if you need

  • Development teams wanting a managed layer for building AI agents
  • Companies wanting bring-your-own-model flexibility with hosted infrastructure
  • Teams that want marketplace extensibility instead of custom integration work

Choose Relevance AI if you need

  • Ops and go-to-market teams automating repetitive research or outreach
  • Companies that want working agents without hiring engineers to build them
  • Workloads where per-task cost matters more than per-seat cost
