Cronloop vs Relevance AI

Two fact sheets from our own research, side by side — pricing, platforms, API access and status re-checked by us rather than quoted from the vendors. Cronloop publishes a starting price ($25); Relevance AI does not. Both have a free tier. Both ship a public API.

What our research says

Cronloop

A good fit for someone who already has a handful of repetitive, tool-connected tasks and wants them running on autopilot with memory instead of rebuilding an automation chain each time. The free tier's 200 run-minutes is enough to validate a couple of workflows before paying $25 a month.

Pros

  • Markdown-defined jobs are easy to read and version instead of a locked visual builder
  • Persistent memory between scheduled runs lets agents build on prior context
  • MCP server support means it can be driven directly from Claude or ChatGPT
  • 50+ tool integrations including Gmail, HubSpot, Slack, and GitHub

Cons

  • Free tier's 10-minute run cap and hourly scheduling limit rule out longer or more time-sensitive jobs
  • Requires bringing your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key or subscription for the underlying model calls

Relevance AI

A credible no-code agent builder, but pricing has moved behind a sales conversation and the two-meter billing makes running cost genuinely hard to forecast.

Pros

  • Agents get tools, knowledge and schedules without any code
  • Free tier of 200 actions a month is enough to prototype something real
  • Model cost is passed through without markup on vendor credits
  • Agents can be grouped into teams that hand work between each other

Cons

  • Self-serve prices are no longer published anywhere on the site
  • Two simultaneous meters make budgeting awkward and surprises likely
  • Top-up rates are steep at $80 per 1,000 actions
  • Smaller vendor than the incumbents it is competing against

Which one fits

Choose Cronloop if you need

  • Solo operators and small teams automating recurring, tool-connected tasks
  • Users who already work inside Claude or ChatGPT via MCP

Choose Relevance AI if you need

  • Ops and go-to-market teams automating repetitive research or outreach
  • Companies that want working agents without hiring engineers to build them
  • Workloads where per-task cost matters more than per-seat cost
