Anakin.ai vs Relevance AI

Two fact sheets from our own research, side by side — pricing, platforms, API access and status re-checked by us rather than quoted from the vendors. Anakin.ai publishes a starting price ($9.90); Relevance AI does not. Both have a free tier. Both ship a public API.

What our research says

Anakin.ai

Anakin is a good fit if you want to ship small internal AI tools without wiring up model SDKs — the app catalogue plus batch processing covers a lot of ground for under $20 a month. The catch is the credit abstraction: you cannot see what an expensive model costs you until the balance drops, and the free tier is too thin to evaluate anything serious.

Pros

  • Documented API for any app you build, with per-account access tokens
  • Large catalogue of prebuilt apps shortens time to first result
  • Batch processing over datasets is a first-class feature, not an add-on
  • Four clearly published tiers starting under $10/month

Cons

  • Credits obscure the real per-model cost of a run
  • Free plan is restricted to Gemini and one image per generation
  • Several homepage capabilities, including Auto Agents and integrations, are labelled coming soon

Relevance AI

A credible no-code agent builder, but pricing has moved behind a sales conversation and the two-meter billing makes running cost genuinely hard to forecast.

Pros

  • Agents get tools, knowledge and schedules without any code
  • Free tier of 200 actions a month is enough to prototype something real
  • Model cost is passed through without markup on vendor credits
  • Agents can be grouped into teams that hand work between each other

Cons

  • Self-serve prices are no longer published anywhere on the site
  • Two simultaneous meters make budgeting awkward and surprises likely
  • Top-up rates are steep at $80 per 1,000 actions
  • Smaller vendor than the incumbents it is competing against

Which one fits

Choose Anakin.ai if you need

  • Non-developers packaging a prompt into a reusable internal tool
  • Running the same prompt over a large list of rows or documents
  • Teams that want several model vendors on one invoice

Choose Relevance AI if you need

  • Ops and go-to-market teams automating repetitive research or outreach
  • Companies that want working agents without hiring engineers to build them
  • Workloads where per-task cost matters more than per-seat cost
