What our research says

Ocoya

The per-profile economics are the story: 50 social profiles for $79 undercuts Buffer and Later badly if you manage many accounts. Sold as a single-brand tool it is unremarkable; sold as an agency tool it is one of the cheaper credible options.

Pros

  • Profile counts per dollar beat most mainstream schedulers at the agency tiers
  • Copy, image generation and scheduling live in one screen instead of three tools
  • Public API with self-serve key generation, plus an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT
  • Workspace separation makes client isolation straightforward

Cons

  • AI credits are metered separately from posting and run out fast on the $15 tier's 100
  • Analytics are basic compared with Sprout or Hootsuite
  • The published terms date to 2022, which is a stale legal surface for a 2026 product
  • Small Lithuanian team means limited support hours across US timezones

UGO

A hands-off marketing service for local businesses that would otherwise post nothing. The value is in the publishing side, not the writing: nine networks including Google Business Profile, on a calendar, without anyone logging in. Priced like an agency retainer rather than a tool, and the top tier locks you in for a year.

Pros

  • Publishes directly to nine networks including Google Business Profile, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky
  • Builds the brand profile by scanning the existing site rather than making you fill in a questionnaire
  • Covers blog articles and local SEO pages, not only social posts
  • A free plan lets you see the brand scan before paying

Cons

  • Entry price of $149 a month is agency-tier for a self-serve tool
  • The Concierge plan carries a $999 launch fee and a twelve-month commitment
  • No refunds are offered
  • No API, so it cannot feed an existing content pipeline

Which one fits

Choose Ocoya if you need

  • Small agencies running 20-150 client social profiles
  • Ecommerce brands auto-posting from a Shopify or WooCommerce product feed
  • Teams that need a client approval step before anything publishes
  • Anyone wanting to drive scheduling from a script or an AI assistant via MCP

Choose UGO if you need

  • single-location service businesses with no marketing staff
  • owners who want posting to happen without their involvement
  • businesses that need Google Business Profile kept active
