MySpec produces the specification an AI coding agent needs before it starts writing code. Four agents — analyst, architect, designer and reviewer — interview you in conversation, then emit four markdown files: constitution.md for non-negotiable constraints and stack choices, requirements.md in the testable EARS+ when/if/then format, solution.md with schemas, endpoints and Mermaid diagrams, and tasks.md broken into steps small enough for an agent to finish. You can edit the spec in plain English and see the change as a diff. Brownfield mode reads an existing codebase and scopes a requirements delta instead. Output exports as a ZIP or into a .specs folder, and an MCP server wires it into Claude Code, Cursor and Claude Desktop.

Pros & cons of MySpec
Spec-driven development is the current answer to agents that build the wrong thing confidently, and MySpec is a clean implementation of it: a real interview, four files with distinct jobs, and testable EARS+ requirements instead of prose. The MCP server matters — the spec lands where the agent already works. It is an unlimited free beta right now, which also means the pricing you eventually pay is unknown.
