What our research says

monday.com

The most visual of the big work platforms, and the easiest to get a non-technical team onto. The AI layer is broad — agents, notetaker, triage, workflow builder — but metered by credits, which makes it hard to predict what heavy use costs. Splitting CRM, service and dev into separately priced products means the real bill is usually higher than the headline seat price.

Pros

  • Boards, automations, forms, docs and dashboards without writing code
  • Four product lines share one platform: work management, CRM, service, dev
  • AI notetaker, ticket triage, workflow builder and agent workforce built in
  • Public company with a long track record, founded 2012 and listed

Cons

  • Free plan is capped at two seats, effectively a trial
  • AI features consume a separate credit pool on top of seat cost
  • CRM and Service lines are priced well above the work-management tiers
  • Pricing is billing-country dependent, so quoted currency and figures shift by region

Team Pulse

Team Pulse's pitch is not managing tasks and deals in two separate tools — projects and a CRM pipeline share one workspace, one chat, and one AI credit pool. The free tier is usable, with unlimited collaborators and 2 projects, rather than a crippled trial, a decent way to actually test it with a real team before paying. Five pricing tiers running up to $299/month is a lot of ladder for what still looks like a young product, so it's worth checking whether the jump between tiers is worth it for a given team's size before committing.

Pros

  • Free tier allows unlimited collaborators, not just a capped number of seats
  • Project management and CRM pipeline share one workspace instead of needing two subscriptions
  • AI credits for workflow generation and insights are included at every tier, including free

Cons

  • Five pricing tiers running to $299/month adds complexity to figuring out the right plan for a given team size
  • Small company (Green Candy Media) behind a fairly broad combined PM-plus-CRM product, and depth in either category isn't established here
