What our research says

Miro AI

The reason Miro AI beats a bolted-on chat box is context: the canvas is the prompt, so clustering, summarising and drafting land back on the board where the team already works. The cost model is the catch — AI credits are small on every tier and reset monthly, so real use pushes you upward. If your team is not already in Miro, none of this justifies a switch.

Pros

  • Uses existing board content as context, not a blank prompt
  • Prebuilt Playbooks for planning, prototyping and research
  • 250+ integrations plus a developer platform and MCP server
  • Free tier still includes 10 AI credits a month

Cons

  • AI credits are tightly capped: 25 per member on the $8 tier
  • Enterprise requires a 30-member minimum
  • Only worth paying for if the team is already on Miro

Seenapse

A narrow tool with a real point of view: it optimises for range rather than for the single best answer, and the branching canvas suits how creative teams actually work a brief. The creativity benchmark is self-run, so treat it as a claim rather than a finding. Prompt quotas on the cheaper plans are tight for a working creative director.

Pros

  • Non-linear branching canvas instead of a single chat thread
  • Shared projects and up to 20 users on the team plan
  • Explicit stance that you own the output and that data is not used for training
  • Free tier lets you test the model's range before paying

Cons

  • Personal plan caps you at 150 prompts a month, which a busy week will exhaust
  • The creativity comparison against ChatGPT and Claude is vendor-run, not independent
  • No API and no published integrations
