Heatbot vs Uizard

Two fact sheets from our own research, side by side — pricing, platforms, API access and status re-checked by us rather than quoted from the vendors. Heatbot starts at $9, Uizard at $12. Only Uizard has a free tier.

What our research says

Heatbot

Heatbot's value depends entirely on already having heatmap data to feed it — it's a redesign step bolted onto existing analytics tools, not a heatmap tool itself. The $9 entry tier is cheap enough to try on a real page, though credit consumption at 1,350 a month will cap how many redesigns that actually covers.

Pros

  • Directly imports data from Hotjar, Mouseflow, CrazyEgg, and Microsoft Clarity
  • Generates working HTML/CSS/JS, not just written suggestions
  • Choice of underlying AI model per generation
  • Entry plan is $9/month, cheap enough to trial on a real project

Cons

  • Requires a separate heatmap tool subscription to have data to feed it
  • Monthly credit caps limit how many pages can be redesigned

Uizard

Good for getting a rough multi-screen concept in front of stakeholders within an hour; not where the real design work ends up living afterwards.

Pros

  • Output is editable components, not a flat image you have to redraw
  • Sketch and screenshot import genuinely shortens the blank-page stage
  • $12/mo entry is cheap next to mainstream design tools
  • Free tier is enough to judge whether the fidelity suits your work

Cons

  • Miro acquired it in 2024, so long-term roadmap independence is unclear
  • The free plan's 3 generations a month runs out almost immediately
  • Fidelity sits below what a designer would ship; expect to rebuild elsewhere
  • Headline prices are annual-billed, so month-to-month buyers pay more

Which one fits

Choose Heatbot if you need

  • Teams that already collect Hotjar/Clarity heatmaps and want code suggestions from them
  • Small sites wanting a low-cost way to test interface changes
  • Developers who want generated code in a specific framework (React, Vue, etc.)

Choose Uizard if you need

  • Product managers sketching a concept before involving designers
  • Turning whiteboard photos or competitor screenshots into editable screens
  • Early-stage founders needing a plausible mockup for a pitch deck
