Flowstep

Sits between a design generator and a code generator: you get a screen you can edit visually, then take it into Figma or straight out as React and Tailwind. At $15 a month it is one of the cheaper entries in the category. The meter is on messages, so heavy iteration on one screen costs the same as designing five new ones.

Pros

  • Generates full multi-screen flows, not single isolated mockups
  • Output copies into Figma and exports as React with TypeScript and Tailwind
  • Screens stay editable by hand or through further chat instructions
  • Real-time collaboration on shared projects
  • Publishes an MCP server so an agent can drive it

Cons

  • Starter meters 80 messages a month, and every edit request spends one
  • No published company entity, address or team on the marketing pages
  • No design-system or component-library management
  • Enterprise pricing is negotiated with nothing published

Uizard

Good for getting a rough multi-screen concept in front of stakeholders within an hour; not where the real design work ends up living afterwards.

Pros

  • Output is editable components, not a flat image you have to redraw
  • Sketch and screenshot import genuinely shortens the blank-page stage
  • $12/mo entry is cheap next to mainstream design tools
  • Free tier is enough to judge whether the fidelity suits your work

Cons

  • Miro acquired it in 2024, so long-term roadmap independence is unclear
  • The free plan's 3 generations a month runs out almost immediately
  • Fidelity sits below what a designer would ship; expect to rebuild elsewhere
  • Headline prices are annual-billed, so month-to-month buyers pay more
