What our research says

Denoisr

Denoisr is scoped narrowly to spoken-word cleanup rather than general audio mastering, with modes tuned specifically for podcast and interview use cases. The credit system (1 credit per minute of cleanup, 1.5 for transcription) is straightforward to estimate cost from, but the free tier's 5 minutes is only enough to sample the tool, not to process a real episode.

Pros

  • Three purpose-built modes (Clean Noise, Enhance Voice, Podcast Ready) rather than one generic filter
  • Simple, predictable credit cost (1 credit/minute cleanup, 1.5/minute transcription)
  • Creator and Pro tiers add transcription and show notes generation, not just cleanup
  • No card required to try the free tier

Cons

  • Free tier's 5 minutes is only a sample, not enough for a real episode
  • No company or ownership information disclosed
  • File-length and batch caps mean longer recordings need a higher-priced tier

Krisp

Krisp is worth paying for if you take calls from places you cannot control, because it fixes the audio at the driver level rather than inside one app. The meeting-notes half is competent but not why you buy it.

Pros

  • Works as a virtual device beneath any app, so it is not tied to Zoom or Teams
  • Bidirectional: it also strips noise from the people you are listening to
  • A perpetual free tier still exists rather than the 7-day trial the pricing page pushes
  • On-device private transcription is available on Enterprise for regulated buyers

Cons

  • The pricing page foregrounds a 7-day trial and buries the free plan, which reads as a downgrade
  • Accent conversion is capped by hours per day even on paid tiers
  • Month-to-month costs double the annual rate at every tier
  • Call Center AI carries a 40-seat minimum, so it is closed to small teams
