MindMeister is a browser mind-mapping tool that has been running since 2007. Maps are built with unlimited collaborators editing at once, can be played back as a presentation, and export to PDF, Word or PowerPoint; an AI mode drafts and expands a map from a prompt or an uploaded file, and a beta MCP connector lets Claude create or summarize maps. The free plan keeps those features but stops at three maps. A REST API and an embeddable editor serve developers, and it pairs with MeisterTask so branches can become tasks.
