Free accounts get 20 uses per tool per 24 hours (50 for text removal) at standard resolution; Pro raises that to 1,000 per tool per day at high resolution with a free trial, but the monthly price renders only inside the checkout flow, so no USD figure on the page. API calls go through the Jasper API, billed separately.
Use tool ↗About Clipdrop
Clipdrop is a set of single-purpose image utilities in the browser: remove or replace a background, erase objects, extend a photo beyond its frame, upscale, relight a subject and strip text. Each tool works standalone with drag-and-drop, and the same models are reachable through the owner's image API and a Photoshop plugin. It began as the AR Copy Paste demo, and is now owned by Jasper after passing through Stability AI.

Pros & cons of Clipdrop
Still one of the fastest ways to run a single fix on one image without opening an editor or creating a project. The daily caps and the ownership churn are the reasons not to build a workflow on it - Photoroom and Pixelcut are more actively pushed for batch and commerce work.
Pros
- Each tool is a separate single-purpose page - no project setup, no learning curve
- Free tier is usable daily rather than a one-time trial
- Terms permit commercial use of generated images
- Same capabilities exposed through an API and a Photoshop plugin
Cons
- Free output is resolution-limited and queued behind Pro users
- Three owners in four years - Init ML, then Stability AI, then Jasper
- Pro pricing is not shown until you are in the flow
- Text-to-image quality has fallen behind dedicated image models
Best for
- One-off cleanups: kill a background, erase a passer-by, extend a crop
- Designers who want the same models inside Photoshop via the plugin
- Developers embedding background removal or upscaling through an API
Not for
- High-volume batch processing on the free tier
- Mobile-first editing workflows
Watch out: Old catalog entries point at arcopypaste.app, which is no longer Clipdrop - that domain now serves unrelated spam content, so only clipdrop.co is valid.
