Use tool ↗About ChartGen
ChartGen is the chart-making front end of Ada.im's data platform. You upload a CSV or spreadsheet, describe what you want in plain language, and it picks and renders the visual - bar, line, pie, scatter, heatmap, waterfall, funnel, Gantt, Sankey, candlestick and mind maps among them - with aggregation such as sum, average or count distinct applied for you. Charts can be grouped into published dashboards and refreshed from a connected source rather than re-uploaded. Exports are PNG, SVG and PDF, and paid tiers drop the watermark. The free tier is 50 charts a month; paid tiers are credit buckets that also cover reports and slide output.

Pros & cons of ChartGen
A quick way to get a presentable chart out of a spreadsheet without opening a BI tool, and the chart-type coverage is unusually wide for this price. It is a rendering layer, not an analysis environment, and paid plans meter you in credits shared with report and slide output.
Pros
- Wide chart-type coverage including Gantt, Sankey, treemap and candlestick
- Free tier of 50 charts a month, enough to judge output quality
- PNG, SVG and PDF export without a watermark on paid tiers
- Charts can refresh from a connected source instead of manual re-upload
Cons
- Entry tier allows only two data sources and basic merging
- Paid usage is metered in credits shared across charts, reports and slides
- No company location or entity published
Best for
- Turning an ad-hoc CSV into a chart for a deck or document
- People who need Sankey, waterfall or candlestick charts occasionally
- Small teams that cannot justify a BI licence
Not for
- Governed reporting on a warehouse with row-level permissions
- Analysts who need to reshape and model data before charting
Watch out: The $5 figure on the pricing page is a first-month promotion; the standing Starter rate is $10 a month.
