One API that turns a song plus lyrics into a finished music video, shot by shot.
Beat API hides the plumbing behind AI music videos. You post audio, lyrics, a prompt and reference images to one endpoint, get a task id back, then poll or take a webhook while the service builds a storyboard, renders shots, composes them and returns a hosted MP4. Because the storyboard is exposed, a single bad shot can be re-rendered or swapped instead of paying to regenerate the whole clip. The same key also reaches separate image, video, effect and realtime WebRTC endpoints. Billing runs off a usage ledger priced on audio length, resolution and quality tier, with charges reserved when a task is accepted and refunded on eligible failures. Standard accepts 10 to 180 seconds of audio, premium up to 300.
Credits are 1 USD each and drawn down per task by audio length, resolution, quality tier and extras such as lip-sync. No plan tiers and no published rate card - costs only appear in the ledger.
Use tool ↗Solves a real integration problem: music video generation normally means stitching a storyboard model, a video model and a compositor yourself, and this collapses that into one async task with a ledger behind it. Editable storyboards mean one ruined shot does not cost a full re-render. What is missing is a rate card - you learn what a job costs after it runs.
Watch out: Charges are reserved the moment a task is accepted, so a misconfigured retry loop can burn credits before any video is delivered.
