Attio vs Lighthouse

Two fact sheets from our own research, side by side — pricing, platforms, API access and status re-checked by us rather than quoted from the vendors. Attio publishes a starting price ($39); Lighthouse does not. Only Attio has a free tier. Both ship a public API.

What our research says

Attio

Attio is the CRM to look at when your sales motion does not fit HubSpot's shape — the object model bends, and the AI features read from that model rather than being bolted on. Call Intelligence and unlimited seats only arrive at the Pro tier, which is where the price starts to bite. The MCP server is the genuinely differentiating piece if your team already works through Claude or ChatGPT.

Pros

  • Free tier covers three seats with contact syncing and enrichment
  • Call Intelligence records, transcribes and logs calls natively on Pro
  • Workflows can be described in natural language instead of hand-built
  • Official MCP integration exposes CRM data to Claude and ChatGPT

Cons

  • Call Intelligence, sequences and permission controls are Pro-only
  • Plus caps at 10 seats, forcing a jump to Pro as the team grows
  • Per-seat pricing at the Pro tier is expensive for wide rollouts
  • Enterprise is annual-billed and custom-quoted

Lighthouse

Lighthouse is a purpose-built CRM for venture investors rather than a generic sales CRM adapted for VC use, with dealflow sourcing and warm-introduction mapping as its clearest differentiators. Pricing is entirely custom and not published, so evaluating cost requires going through a trial or a sales conversation rather than comparing a plan sheet upfront.

Pros

  • Automatically sources and enriches companies against a stated investment thesis
  • Maps warm introduction paths across a firm's existing network and contacts
  • Registered Swiss legal entity with a confirmed founding year, not an anonymous project

Cons

  • No public pricing; every quote requires a sales conversation or demo
  • Purpose-built for VC workflows, so it has no general-purpose sales CRM use case

Which one fits

Choose Attio if you need

  • startups whose pipeline does not fit a stock CRM schema
  • teams that want call recording inside the CRM rather than a separate tool
  • orgs running agents against customer data over MCP

Choose Lighthouse if you need

  • VC firms wanting dealflow sourcing and relationship mapping built into their CRM rather than bolted on
  • Firms that want AI-handled inbound triage and meeting summaries as part of the workflow
