YTVidHub extracts subtitles from YouTube videos, playlists or entire channels and exports them as SRT, VTT or TXT files compatible with editors like Premiere Pro and VLC, alongside an AI summarization feature aimed at researchers building training datasets or anyone wanting a quick digest of a long video. A free tier gives limited daily credits and a small guest allowance without an account; paid tiers raise the credit pool, unlock bulk downloads across up to 100 links at once, and add full API access at the top annual tier. Pros & cons of YTVidHub
YTVidHub is a straightforward subtitle-extraction tool with a genuinely useful bulk mode for researchers pulling captions across whole channels or playlists, plus an AI summary layer for anyone who just wants the gist of a long video. The free tier's 5 daily credits are only enough for occasional, not regular, use.
Pros
- Bulk downloads across up to 100 links at once on paid tiers
- Exports in SRT, VTT and TXT, compatible with common video editors
- API access available on the annual Researcher tier
Cons
- Free tier limited to 5 daily credits, too thin for regular use
- Not affiliated with YouTube, so caption availability depends entirely on what creators have published
Best for
- Researchers building training datasets from YouTube captions at scale
- Video editors needing SRT or VTT files for existing footage
- Anyone wanting a quick AI summary instead of watching a full video
Not for
- Occasional users unwilling to pay, the free tier is capped at 5 credits a day
- Anyone needing official Google or YouTube support, this is an unaffiliated third-party tool
Watch out: Bulk-downloading captions across a channel for dataset-building may run against the channel owner's terms even where technically accessible.
