Automated long-to-short video editing driven by speech
Wisecut edits talking-head footage from its transcript: it removes silent gaps, generates subtitles, ducks background music under speech, adds punch-in zooms and reframes to vertical or square. An Autopilot mode watches a connected YouTube channel and cuts shorts from new uploads without anyone opening the editor. Everything happens in a browser workspace metered by credits, with no public API and free exports held at 360p.
Credit-metered: the free plan gives 60 credits, one hour of editor time and 360p exports; Starter+ is $23.25/month billed annually ($279/year) for 300 credits and 1080p, Professional+ $83.25/month annually for 1,200 credits and 4K.
Use tool ↗Best for podcasters and course creators who want the boring pass — silences, subtitles, music levels — done automatically on long spoken footage. If your goal is purely viral clip selection, the dedicated clippers pick better moments.
Watch out: The $23.25 and $83.25 figures are annual-prepay rates — the year is charged up front at $279 or $999.
