Pricing

Pricing model
Freemium

Credits, not minutes: 30 free credits on signup with no payment, then subscriptions. Strings in the page code describe Basic (12,000 fast credits, 2 queued tasks, 10-second video, watermark-free) and Pro (48,000 fast credits, 4 queued tasks) without rendering their prices, and a Max tier at $100/month for 28,000 credits that unlocks connector features. Extra credit packs need an active subscription and expire after two years. The pricing page is a client-rendered app, so the Basic and Pro prices could not be confirmed from the vendor today.

Overview

About vivago

vivago has refocused on vivago R1, a multi-agent video creator: you type one line, a set of agents turns it into a finished video, and a job started on the web can continue in the mobile app. A CLI plugin lets Codex or Claude drive it from a single prompt, and some connector features are reserved for the Max tier. The older studio tools - text and image to video, stills, 3D models, 4K enhancement and inpainting-style edits - are no longer on the front page, which now shows only the agent. Billing is in credits: 30 free on signup, Basic and Pro tiers with 12,000 and 48,000 fast-generation credits, and a Max tier at $100 a month for 28,000 credits, though the page only renders in a browser so Basic and Pro prices could not be read. The footer names Sparking Innovations Limited beside a HiDream logo.

Editorial verdict

Pros & cons of vivago

low confidence

vivago has turned itself from a credit-metered studio of video, image and 3D tools into an agent that takes one line and returns a finished video, with Codex and Claude able to drive it from the terminal. That is interesting for people who want a clip without touching a timeline, and the 30 free credits let you see what it makes before paying. What you cannot see is the price list: the site renders only in a browser, the tiers are named in page code without figures except the $100 Max, and the operating company is a bare 'Limited' with no country on the page.

Pros

  • One prompt to a complete video, with web and mobile sessions kept in sync
  • CLI plugin for Codex and Claude, so generation can sit inside an agent workflow
  • 30 free credits on signup with no payment details
  • Watermark-free downloads and unlimited relaxed-queue generations on paid tiers

Cons

  • Basic and Pro prices are not readable from the vendor pages; only the $100 Max figure is
  • Extra credit packs require an active subscription and are non-refundable
  • The earlier image, 3D and enhancement tools are no longer presented on the site
  • Operating company is Sparking Innovations Limited with no address or jurisdiction shown

Best for

  • Creators who want a finished short video from a text brief without editing
  • Developers experimenting with video generation from Codex or Claude via the CLI plugin
  • Budget testing of agentic video before committing to Runway or Kling

Not for

  • Studios that need contractual clarity on output ownership and a named vendor entity
  • Anyone who needs to compare plan prices before signing up, since the tiers are not readable outside the app

Watch out: The card was previously listed as Viva AI; the vendor writes the name as vivago and the product is now vivago R1. Some connector capabilities are gated to the $100 Max tier, so a workflow that starts on Basic may stop mid-task with an upgrade prompt.
