Parlo is an early-stage macOS app that combines three voice features: dictation for writing by speaking, automatic meeting detection with local recording and transcription, and spoken commands for switching apps, setting reminders, or working with files. Everything runs on-device by default, so audio and transcripts stay on the Mac unless the user opts into cloud processing with their own API keys. Meeting notes can be shared out to iCloud, Google Drive, or a network folder. The app requires macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later on Apple Silicon and is explicitly labeled alpha software, meaning it's still rough around the edges and features can change.
Standard plan is $8/month after a 14-day trial; a limited-run lifetime deal for the first 100 users was listed at $80 one-time.
