Harker converts speech to text anywhere on a Mac, triggered by a keyboard shortcut, and runs its base transcription fully on-device using OpenAI's Whisper model rather than sending audio to a server. The free tier has no word cap, no account requirement, and works across any application that accepts text input, in multiple languages. A paid Premium tier adds a cloud AI layer that rewrites dictated text in a chosen style, fixes grammar, reformats it, and translates it, with custom instructions for how the AI should adjust the output. It's built by Ourfires LTD; a Windows version is planned but not yet available.
