Use tool ↗About OsmO
OsmO is a phone assistant that lives on the handset. It picks up calls you do not want to take, screens the caller, blocks spam, writes down messages and can book appointments, and it will also place outbound calls — several in parallel if needed — on your behalf. It can clone your voice so the assistant sounds like you, or use a character voice instead, and it gives you a separate assistant line with your own call rules, recurring calls, transcripts and urgent-call transfer. It is iPhone and Android only, with no web console and no API. The operator is Mountainheads Private Limited, a company registered in India in 2025, and subscriptions are billed through the app stores.

Pros & cons of OsmO
A consumer call screener that goes further than the built-in ones: as well as filtering what comes in, it will make calls out for you, in parallel, in a cloned copy of your own voice. At under eight dollars a month that is a lot of function for the money. The trade-offs are that everything happens inside a phone app with no web view or API, and that the operator is a company incorporated in 2025 with no track record yet.
Pros
- Screens inbound calls, blocks spam and takes messages without you answering
- Places outbound calls, including several in parallel, and can retry on a schedule
- Voice cloning so the assistant answers in your own voice, plus character voices
- Dedicated assistant line with custom call rules, transcripts and urgent-call transfer
- Seven-day free trial before any charge
Cons
- Mobile-only: no web console, no desktop client, no API
- The exact price depends on store and country, so the 7.99 figure is a floor not a promise
- The operating company was only registered in 2025, so there is no longevity record
- Voice cloning of yourself for outbound calls raises consent questions the app cannot resolve for you
Best for
- People buried in unknown-number calls who want them triaged before ringing
- Anyone who dreads making routine phone calls and would rather delegate them
- Users who want a second assistant line separate from their own number
Not for
- Businesses needing a shared front desk with CRM handoff
- Anyone who needs desktop access, call logs in a web console, or an API
Watch out: Recording and cloned-voice calling are regulated differently by country and by US state; the app leaves that compliance to you.
