Use tool ↗About Newsprint
Newsprint is an email-only news monitoring service. Each day it sends a briefing built from wire services, trade press, national media and niche outlets, filtered down to what matters for your company, named competitors and your industry. You manage it entirely by replying to the email to add competitors or shift topics, and the system adjusts future briefs from what you click and skip. Delivery starts within about 15 minutes of signup, with unlimited teammates able to receive the same brief. It is run as a small software company out of Philadelphia and sold as a flat monthly subscription with no per-seat charge for internal readers.

Pros & cons of Newsprint
Newsprint replaces a manual news-scanning routine with one daily email tuned to your company and competitors. The catch is the price: $500 a month is aimed at teams, not individuals, and there is no self-serve way to see the product before that first brief arrives.
Pros
- Delivers a working brief within minutes of signup with no configuration screens
- Learns from clicks and skips instead of requiring manual keyword tuning
- Unlimited internal subscribers on one paid brief
Cons
- No published free tier, so you commit to $500/month before a trial
- Email-only interface means no dashboard or historical search
- No pricing tier between the $500 standard plan and custom enterprise deals
Best for
- Comms and PR teams tracking competitor coverage
- Executives who want one daily email instead of alerts
- Small teams that don't want to run their own media-monitoring dashboard
Not for
- Individuals wanting a cheap personal news digest
- Teams needing a searchable historical archive, not just email
Watch out: The interface is entirely email, so there is nowhere to browse past briefs or search old coverage.
