What our research says

LogoAI

Fine if you need a passable mark plus a stack of matching collateral for under a hundred dollars and were never going to hire a designer. If the logo has to carry a funded brand, treat it as a placeholder: the generator recombines a shared icon and font library, so lookalikes are a real risk.

Pros

  • One-time payment instead of the recurring subscription most logo makers push
  • Brand Center bundles collateral (cards, posters, mockups) that rivals charge extra for
  • Public Logo API for embedding generation into another product
  • Design and preview are free, so you only pay once you have something you like

Cons

  • The icon library is shared across all users, so near-identical logos exist in the wild
  • Cheapest package caps you at low-resolution raster files with no vector
  • Vector output, animation and the Brand Center sit behind the two upper packages
  • No trademark screening at all, so that risk stays with you

Zoviz

Decent value if you want a whole starter identity, not just a logo, and you are fine with a machine-assembled look. The catch is that it is a subscription dressed up as pay-per-download, so budget for the renewals or export everything before you cancel.

Pros

  • Kit breadth is genuinely wide: cards, letterheads, signatures, covers, favicon and a brand guide
  • True vector output (SVG, EPS, PDF), not just PNGs
  • iOS and Android apps plus an API for enterprise integration
  • Free to design and preview, so you see the result before paying anything

Cons

  • Pricing is a monthly subscription, though the homepage frames it as paying to download
  • Style range is template-adjacent; results in the same industry look alike
  • Cheapest tier covers a single brand and one team member
  • Company details are thin: a New York private mailbox address and no named team

Which one fits

Choose LogoAI if you need

  • Solo founders who need a mark before a launch deadline
  • Small businesses that also want cards, signatures and social templates from one place
  • Testing several name and brand directions cheaply before committing
  • Platforms embedding logo generation through the API

Choose Zoviz if you need

  • Solo founders and small shops needing a complete first identity in an hour
  • Freelancers producing throwaway brands for pitches and mockups
  • Anyone who needs stationery, socials and a favicon rather than one logo file
