Overview

About Linked Helper

Linked Helper is a desktop program that drives your own LinkedIn account through outreach campaigns. It visits profiles, sends connection invites, runs multi-step follow-up sequences, endorses contacts and exports profile and search results to CSV. The vendor makes a point of it being an installed app rather than a Chrome extension, so no script is injected into the LinkedIn page. A small CRM with tags and notes sits inside the app, and results route out to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or a raw webhook. Native builds exist for Windows 10+, macOS 12+ and Ubuntu 18.04+, and one licence drives one LinkedIn account at a time. Sold from a Wilmington, Delaware address after a 14-day trial.

Editorial verdict

Pros & cons of Linked Helper

high confidence

One of the few LinkedIn automation tools that runs as an installed desktop app instead of a browser extension, which keeps its code out of LinkedIn's page and lets it schedule work with rolling daily limits. You get a campaign builder, a lightweight CRM and CSV or webhook export for $15 a month on the local-storage tier. The catch is metering: data and AI credits run out, cloud storage roughly doubles the price, and any LinkedIn automation carries account risk the vendor cannot insure against.

Pros

  • Runs as a desktop app, so nothing is injected into LinkedIn's own page
  • Campaigns cover invites, follow-up sequences, endorsements and CSV export of profile and search data
  • Built-in CRM with tagging plus routing to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zapier and webhooks
  • Native builds for Windows, macOS and Ubuntu, with a full-feature 14-day trial

Cons

  • Data and AI credits are metered monthly and need topping up for heavy scraping
  • One licence covers one LinkedIn account at a time, so multi-account work costs more
  • Ubuntu is supported but the vendor itself advises against it for multi-account work
  • No permanent free tier once the trial ends

Best for

  • Solo founders and recruiters running steady LinkedIn outreach from one account
  • Anyone who wants scraped LinkedIn data landing in a CSV or CRM rather than a dashboard
  • Users who prefer local storage of prospect data over a vendor cloud

Not for

  • Teams wanting a hosted service with nothing installed on a machine
  • Agencies juggling many LinkedIn accounts at once on one licence

Watch out: The $15 headline is the local-storage version, which keeps everything on one machine. Cross-device access means the cloud version at $29.90 — the same tier at roughly double the price.
