What our research says

Klaviyo

The default marketing stack for Shopify-scale e-commerce because its data model is built around customer events rather than lists, so predictive fields and AI-built segments actually have something to work with. The free tier is a sandbox, the real cost climbs with active profiles, and once SMS, Composer usage and service modules are switched on the invoice has several meters, not one.

Pros

  • Pricing by active profiles with a real free tier (250 profiles, 500 sends) and no card
  • Predictive churn, lifetime value and next-order date per profile built in
  • Composer builds and audits flows and campaigns from natural-language prompts
  • Public REST API with maintained SDKs in Python, PHP, Ruby and more
  • Email, SMS/MMS, push and a helpdesk module share one customer profile

Cons

  • Costs step up with every active-profile band; the $20 entry price covers only 251–500 profiles
  • SMS, Composer usage and support packages are separate meters on top of the plan
  • The pricing page shows the entry bands and leaves larger bands to a calculator
  • The platform has widened into service and analytics, adding modules a small brand will not use

Migma.ai

Migma sits before the sender rather than replacing it: it writes and designs the email, then hands off to Klaviyo or Mailchimp, which is the right division of labour and makes it easy to adopt. Importing from Figma or a screenshot of a competitor's email is the feature marketers will actually use daily. The frustration is the pricing page, which advertises tiers but renders no numbers until you have an account.

Pros

  • Generates emails, flows, segments and scheduling from one written brief
  • Imports from Figma, screenshots or raw HTML rather than starting blank
  • Exports to existing senders instead of forcing a migration
  • Named Delaware entity, founding year and founders are all published

Cons

  • No price is visible anywhere without an account
  • The company's stated locations, Stockholm and Barcelona, do not match its Delaware registration, so support hours are unclear
  • Sending through Migma directly means a second deliverability reputation to manage

Which one fits

Choose Klaviyo if you need

  • E-commerce brands on Shopify, WooCommerce or similar with real order data to segment on
  • Teams that want churn, lifetime-value and next-order predictions without a data scientist
  • Marketers who want flows and campaigns drafted from a prompt and audited by the same assistant

Choose Migma.ai if you need

  • Marketing teams that already send through Klaviyo or Mailchimp
  • Designers converting Figma layouts into responsive email HTML
  • Small teams producing many campaign variants a month
