A macOS assistant you summon over any app with a shortcut, forwarding requests to GPT models and returning formatted answers.
Iris is a native Mac app from Interface Presents that overlays a chat panel on top of whatever app is currently open, so a user can ask a question or give an instruction without switching windows. It answers using OpenAI's GPT models and can format replies with bold text, bulleted lists, and syntax-highlighted code. The current build is a public beta that recently added calendar support, a redesigned screenshot tool, and a new onboarding flow. No pricing page is published yet, and the app is free to use during this beta period.
