Getfloorplan

A production service with an AI back end, not a tool you sit in — you upload a plan and collect files the next day. At roughly $20 a property it is priced to be bought per listing, which is exactly right for agents and wrong for anyone who wants to iterate on a design.

Pros

  • Per-property pricing with no subscription commitment
  • Delivers 2D plan, 3D plan and 360 tour as one bundle, so no stitching of vendors
  • Around 24-hour turnaround is fast against traditional 3D visualisation studios
  • Accepts scanned or photographed plans, not just CAD files

Cons

  • No live editor — revisions mean going back to the vendor
  • No public API for bulk or automated ordering
  • Marketing site is a JavaScript app with no server-rendered pricing or legal pages, so terms are hard to check before buying
  • Styling choices are template-driven; you are picking a preset, not art-directing

Planner 5D

Fifteen years old and available on essentially every platform, which is rare in this category and shows in how complete the toolchain is - plan, furnish, render, export to CAD. The AI parts are add-ons to a conventional design tool rather than the product itself, and they are rationed by credits even on paid plans. The free tier is usable but deliberately limited to half the catalogue.
