Floneum is a desktop editor where you wire language-model steps together as nodes instead of writing glue code. The graph ships with 41 built-in blocks covering text generation, structured generation, embeddings and an embedding database, web scraping and browser control, file reads and writes, plus arithmetic and branching. Extensions load as WebAssembly modules that only receive the resources they are granted, so a plugin can be written in Rust, C, Java or Go without handing it the whole machine. The project is open source and free to run; the same team maintains Kalosm, the Rust crate stack the app is built on.

Pros & cons of Floneum
A rare visual LLM workflow tool that runs on your own machine with no account, and its plugin sandbox was a real design decision rather than a checkbox - third-party nodes get only the capabilities you grant. The catch is that it looks abandoned: the repository has been renamed to Kalosm, the editor's source folder is gone from the main branch, and the only app build is still 0.2.0 from 2023.
