Enago Read, formerly RAxter, is a reading workspace for academic literature. It summarises papers, extracts key insights, suggests related work from a corpus the vendor puts at over 200 million sources, and includes a copilot you can ask questions of. It is built by Crimson AI, the technology arm of the Enago author-services group, and the footer states it is made in India. The free tier meters summaries, insights and copilot questions at ten a month each and caps the library at 25 papers; paid tiers raise those quotas and add collaborators.
Premium is $3/month on annual billing ($36/year, advertised at 50% off) or $6/month monthly. Premium with Copilot is $4/month annually ($48/year) or $8 monthly. Free tier: 10 summaries, 10 key insights and 10 copilot questions per month, 25 papers.
