Eigent is a desktop application for macOS, Windows and Linux in which a team of AI agents plans and carries out multi-step work, such as research briefs, file processing and scheduled automations, while you watch progress and approve actions before they run. It is built on the CAMEL-AI multi-agent framework, its code is open source under Apache 2.0, and it can run with your own API keys or local models at no cost. The hosted version adds credits for frontier models from several providers on paid plans. It is made by EIGENT UK LTD and suits developers and small teams who want agent automation they can inspect and self-host.
