Cordbot puts an AI agent built on Anthropic's Claude into a Discord server. Once added, it keeps conversation memory, answers members' questions, searches the web, works with files, creates forum posts and runs scheduled or recurring tasks, and it can connect to services such as Gmail. The project is open source: a server owner can self-host it with their own Claude API key and pay only for that usage. There is also a hosted route added through Discord sign-in, currently a free trial with a limited number of queries, and a managed hosting beta that requires manual approval. Paid hosted tiers are announced but not yet on sale.
