The pricing page now shows no plans or figures, only a demo booking; the earlier published $250-a-month plan with $1-per-interview-minute metering is gone, so the cost has to be quoted by sales.
Use tool ↗About Convo
Convo runs qualitative research studies where the moderator is a model rather than a person: it asks the questions, follows up on what the participant said, and covers concept tests, usability sessions on embedded Figma prototypes, customer discovery and multi-day diary studies in more than forty languages, by voice or video. Recordings are transcribed and themed automatically, with a live dashboard and shareable highlight clips. It is sold to research and product teams through a booked demo; the pricing page no longer lists a price. The company, Convo B.V., was founded in Amsterdam in March 2024.

Pros & cons of Convo
An AI-moderated research platform that runs the interview itself and does the transcription and theming afterwards, in over forty languages. Diary studies and Figma prototype testing are covered, which is more than most survey tools attempt. Pricing has moved behind a demo call, and an automated moderator will not chase the interesting tangent a good researcher would.
Pros
- The model moderates live and asks branching follow-ups rather than reading a fixed script
- Handles concept testing, usability, discovery and diary studies
- Transcribes, themes and produces shareable highlight reels automatically
- Supports more than forty languages and integrates with Figma prototypes
Cons
- No public price any more; every route leads to a demo booking
- No public API found, so results stay inside the dashboard
- An automated moderator misses the unscripted probe that often produces the real insight
- Named customers are enterprise, and the sales process reflects that audience
Best for
- research teams running concept tests or usability studies at volume
- multilingual studies where recruiting local moderators is the bottleneck
- product teams testing Figma prototypes with real users
Not for
- one-off studies where a sales-quoted platform contract is out of proportion
- sensitive or exploratory research that needs a skilled human moderator
Watch out: Ask whether interview minutes or uploads are metered on top of the platform fee; the last published plan charged per interview minute, which made cost scale with how talkative participants were.
