Use tool ↗About CatDoes
CatDoes is a browser-based app builder that turns a written brief into a working product. An agent plans the build, writes the code, runs tests and deploys it, producing React Native Expo binaries for iOS and Android or Vite and Next.js sites for the web, with database, auth, storage, edge functions and realtime wired in. Work is metered in credits rather than seats: the free tier gives 15 credits and one public project, while paid tiers add private projects, GitHub import, custom domains and app store releases, with code export from Pro. It is run by CatDoes Inc., a Delaware corporation.

Pros & cons of CatDoes
One of the few prompt-to-app tools that goes past a web preview and actually produces React Native binaries you can put in front of an app store reviewer. The credit meter is the thing to watch, because a stubborn feature can burn a chunk of the month in retries, and the free allowance is now only 15 credits.
Pros
- Builds React Native Expo apps for iOS and Android, not only web pages
- Backend pieces — database, auth, storage, edge functions, realtime — come pre-wired
- Pro tier and above allow two-way GitHub sync and full code export
- Named Delaware company with a published legal notice
Cons
- Credits, not seats, decide how much you get done, and debug loops eat them
- Free and Core plans cannot deploy to iOS or Android at all
- Cheap tiers cap you at one or two projects
- Two-way GitHub sync and code export only start at the $168 Pro tier
Best for
- Founders prototyping a mobile app without hiring a developer
- Teams that need iOS and Android from the same written brief
- People who want the generated code exported to their own GitHub
Not for
- Teams with an existing codebase and CI they have to keep
- Builders who need more than 15 free credits to judge the output
Watch out: App store deployment only unlocks at the $42 Starter tier — the cheaper paid plan is web-only.
