No dollar prices on the site: the browser Studio is 'free to start', the API grants 10 credits at signup and bills per minute of source audio per model (1 credit a minute for most stems, 1.5 for dialogue and effects, 10 for multi-speaker separation and music removal) with minutes rounded up, but the price of a credit is shown only inside the dashboard; Live and enterprise work are quoted after a demo.
Use tool ↗About AudioShake
AudioShake splits a mixed recording into separate stems — vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, spoken dialogue, effects and individual overlapping speakers — even when no multitrack session survives, and adds lyric transcription with word-level alignment, speech denoising and music detection for copyright checks. Studios use it for dubbing, captioning, immersive remixes and sync clearance; the same models run through a REST API billed per minute of audio in credits, with a local-inference SDK for on-device use and a browser Studio that is free to start. Customers named on the site include ESPN, Universal, Warner, Disney Music Group and Concord; the company is a Delaware corporation governed by California law.

Pros & cons of AudioShake
The separation quality post houses and rights holders actually pay for; if you are cleaning dialogue or rebuilding a mix from a stereo master, this is the reference point. A hobbyist remixing one track will find free separators close enough at a fraction of the cost.
Pros
- Separation set goes well past vocals/instrumental: guitar, piano, dialogue, music detection, multi-speaker isolation
- Documented REST API at api.audioshake.ai with public per-model credit rates, plus a local-inference SDK
- Track record with large rights holders (Disney Music Group, Universal, Warner, ESPN, Concord) signals licensing comfort
- Word-level lyric alignment ships alongside the separation models
Cons
- No public dollar price anywhere on the marketing or developer site; the Live tier requires a sales conversation
- Access is split across Studio, Indie, Live and the API, each with its own entry point and dashboard
- Credit billing with the credit price hidden behind a dashboard login makes cost forecasting harder than a flat per-minute rate
- Over-specified and over-priced for one-off hobby projects
Best for
- Dubbing and localization teams stripping dialogue away from music and effects
- Labels and publishers rebuilding stems from legacy stereo masters
- Developers who need separation inside an automated pipeline
Not for
- Casual karaoke or practice-track making, where free tools are adequate
- Buyers who need a fixed monthly price agreed before signup
Watch out: Nothing on the public site quotes a price in dollars, so budgeting requires signing up and reading the credit price in the dashboard, or booking a sales call.
