Ask AI Lawyer
Free, no signup, and it at least asks which country's law you mean before answering, which puts it ahead of asking a general chatbot cold. It is also completely anonymous, unverified, and it publishes your question and its answer on a public page. Treat it as a way to learn vocabulary before talking to a real lawyer, not as anything you would act on.
Pros
- Free with no account or card
- Jurisdiction selector across ten countries rather than defaulting to US law
- States which models and inference provider it uses, which most such sites do not
- Repeats the not-legal-advice caveat rather than burying it
Cons
- Questions and answers are published publicly by default
- No named company, jurisdiction or accountable operator
- No lawyer review of any output; correctness is unverifiable
- Answers take minutes rather than being interactive
