What our research says

All Voice Lab

A credible ElevenLabs understudy when your work is mostly multilingual dubbing and cloning and you want an MCP server for agent workflows. Not the pick when procurement expects a named vendor — the company behind it is not disclosed anywhere on the site.

Pros

  • Runs its own MaskGCT speech model rather than reselling another vendor's
  • 33 languages with both instant and higher-fidelity cloning tiers
  • Ships an MCP server alongside the REST API, still uncommon in voice AI
  • Free allowance lets you judge voice quality before any card is entered

Cons

  • Pricing page renders only in JavaScript and third-party listings quote contradictory numbers
  • No company name, address or ownership disclosed anywhere on the site
  • Site footer still reads 2025 and there is no changelog to gauge momentum
  • Voice library is much smaller than ElevenLabs' creator marketplace

ElevenLabs

The quality bar for synthetic speech and the easiest voice API to start on, but the credit meter is the actual product and it empties faster than the plan names imply.

Pros

  • Output quality and language coverage remain ahead of most rivals
  • One account spans speech, dubbing, recognition, effects and agents
  • The first paid tier is $6, so testing commercially costs almost nothing

Cons

  • Credits rather than minutes, so cost per finished second shifts with model and settings
  • Commercial licence and instant cloning are both withheld from the free tier
  • Professional voice cloning starts only at Creator ($22)
  • Team seats do not appear until the $299 Scale plan

Which one fits

Choose All Voice Lab if you need

  • Localising existing video into other languages with a cloned narrator voice
  • Creators producing audiobook or long-form voiceover tracks in bulk
  • Agent builders who want speech synthesis wired in over MCP

Choose ElevenLabs if you need

  • Product teams adding narration or voice agents without training a model
  • Creators dubbing video into other languages with the speaker's timbre kept
  • Audiobook and podcast producers who need a licensable cloned voice
