Coding agents that route each task to Claude, Gemini or Codex, inside VS Code, JetBrains or a headless workflow.
Zencoder is a coding agent platform that puts several frontier models behind one subscription and picks between them per task, which is its answer to being locked into a single vendor. It ships as extensions for VS Code and JetBrains, a CLI, and automated workflows that pick up work from GitHub, GitLab or Jira and hand back changes. Usage is metered in monthly credits per seat, with top-ups sold on demand and unlimited use of your own provider keys, so heavy users can shift cost onto their own accounts. Higher tiers add multi-repository indexing, a shared team credit pool, an analytics dashboard, SSO and audit logs. The vendor is For Good AI Inc.
Per-seat and credit-metered. Pro is $45 per user per month ($40 on annual) for 30,000 credits; Pro Plus is $95 ($85 annual) for 80,000 credits plus a shared team pool, multi-repository indexing, analytics, SSO and audit logs; Pro Max is $195 ($175 annual) for 180,000 credits and priority support. Enterprise is quoted on request with prepaid usage and private deployment. Credit top-ups are sold on demand, and bringing your own model keys is unmetered.
Use tool βIts pitch is model choice: one subscription that reaches Claude, Gemini and Codex and picks per task, plus unlimited use of your own keys if you would rather pay the provider directly. The workflow side, which picks up Jira or GitHub issues and works them headlessly, is more ambitious than a plain in-editor assistant. It is also expensive, starting at $45 a seat with credits that can run out mid-month.
Watch out: The credit allowances are per seat and do not pool until the Pro Plus tier, so one heavy user on a team plan still runs dry alone.
