Reconstructs how a competitor actually grew, tracing first mentions, launch timeline, and moves you can still copy.
Tracetify builds a timeline of a competitor's early growth by pulling from about a dozen sources, including backlink indexes, traffic estimators, social media archives, and search-ranking history, and returns results in roughly 45 seconds. Rather than a snapshot of where a competitor stands today, it shows when they launched, their first press or backlink mentions, and which specific tactics are still repeatable now. A connected SEO agent answers follow-up questions against that same data, a site-audit feature checks the user's own site, and ongoing monitoring flags changes to tracked competitors. It's also available as an MCP integration inside Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. The company is registered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and offers both a monthly subscription and one-time credit packs.
Monthly plan is $9.90/month for 100 credits; a one-time pack of 150 credits costs $19.90; a limited free tier also exists.
Use tool ↗Interesting for a specific job — figuring out exactly how a competitor bootstrapped its early traffic and backlinks — that most SEO tools don't do well since they focus on current standings. The catch is tracing a dozen data sources in 45 seconds means depth on any one source is necessarily shallow, and credits run out fast across several competitors.
