What our research says

ToneShift

ToneShift bundles three things that are often separate products, voice conversion, stem/vocal separation, and a marketplace of community-shared voices, under one credit balance. The token-pack pricing means there's no recurring subscription to cancel, but it also means costs are harder to predict for heavy, ongoing use compared to a flat monthly plan.

Pros

  • Combines voice cloning, music/vocal separation and a voice marketplace in one product
  • No subscription required; tokens are bought as one-time packs
  • Free 200-token allowance to test the product on sign-in
  • Community marketplace adds voices beyond what you clone yourself

Cons

  • Credit-pack pricing makes ongoing monthly cost harder to predict than a flat plan
  • No public information on company location or founding team beyond a 2023 copyright notice
  • Community-sourced voices in the marketplace raise consent questions the site doesn't address

Voice.ai

Unusual in covering both the gaming/streaming voice-changer job and business phone agents from one account. If you only need one of those, a specialist will give you better quality per dollar.

Pros

  • permanent free plan with 5k credits a month
  • $5 entry tier is very low for a product that includes voice cloning
  • live voice changing and telephony agents share one account and balance
  • published Python and TypeScript SDKs plus an on-premise deployment path

Cons

  • credits obscure cost comparisons against per-character or per-minute rivals
  • steep gap between the $12 Launch tier and the $99 Core tier
  • the product surface sprawls from gaming toys to enterprise telephony
  • free tier caps each conversion at 500 characters
