It runs a searchable registry of more than 3,000 of them, scans submissions for security problems, enforces contribution policy, versions what your team publishes, evaluates whether a skill actually improves results, and reports on three levels of adoption: what is published, what projects cover, and what agents really activate. It works alongside Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot and Gemini. Tessl AI Ltd is registered in London, founded by Guy Podjarny, and backed by Index Ventures, GV, boldstart and Accel. A free tier gives 1,000 credits a month in a single workspace; Team is $100 a month for five times that, with pay-as-you-go top-ups.
Free is $0 with 1,000 credits a month, one workspace and no card required. Team is $100/month for 5,000 credits, role management and optional pay-as-you-go top-ups beyond the allowance. Enterprise is a platform fee plus volume-discounted credits, with multiple workspaces, SAML SSO and dedicated support.

Tessl is the control layer for that: a scanned, versioned registry with evaluation attached, and the distinction between published skills and skills agents actually activate is a genuinely useful metric. The risk is that it governs a convention the ecosystem is still inventing.
