SE Ranking is a subscription SEO platform that tracks keyword positions daily across search engines, audits sites page by page, and reports on backlinks, competitors and keyword gaps from its own databases. Since 2025 it has added an AI-visibility layer (SE Visible) that records how often a brand is mentioned in Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and tracks prompts the way it tracks keywords. Agencies get white-label reports, client seats and a lead generator as an add-on, and every plan includes API credits and an MCP server so the data can be pulled into scripts or AI assistants. Plans are metered by projects, tracked keywords and daily prompts rather than by users alone.

Pros & cons of SE Ranking
SE Ranking is the mid-market pick for agencies that need rank tracking, audits and client reports without paying Semrush or Ahrefs prices, and in 2026 it is one of the few suites where AI-answer visibility is tracked in the same project as organic rankings. Solo site owners will find the Core plan generous but still a three-figure monthly bill, and the keyword and backlink databases are smaller than the two market leaders'.
