What our research says

Mutiny

Mutiny has pivoted from ABM website personalization into an AI work assistant for sales teams, and the free tier makes that easy to trial. The pricing cliff is stark — $50/month self-serve jumps to ~$40k/year Enterprise — and buyers relying on older reviews will be researching a product that no longer matches the site.

Pros

  • Free plan with real (if small) monthly credit allowance for 5 seats
  • Connects email, calendar, docs, call recordings and CRM in one assistant
  • Usable directly from Slack or Claude rather than another dashboard
  • Visitor Intelligence analytics carried over for outbound tooling

Cons

  • Credit-metered usage is hard to size before committing
  • Enterprise floor around $40,000/year
  • Recent pivot means thin track record for the new assistant product

Personyze

Personyze has been running website personalization since 2008, which shows in how deep the integration list and targeting rules go compared to newer CRO tools — but that same maturity means the pricing structure, with tiered pageviews, per-add-on pricing and overage fees, is more complex than a simple flat-rate competitor. The MCP server for running accounts through Claude or ChatGPT is a genuinely current addition on top of an otherwise established product.

Pros

  • 14+ years of operating history with a large stated customer base (1,500+ brands)
  • Broad integration list (WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Segment, Tealium, GA4)
  • REST API, mobile SDKs and a new MCP server for AI-client account management

Cons

  • Pricing jumps from a 5,000-pageview free tier straight to $149/month with no low-cost middle step
  • AI chat agent and landing pages are separate paid add-ons, not included in base plans
  • Overage fees apply on top of the tier price once pageview limits are hit

  • Marketing leaders testing AI asset generation without procurement

Choose Personyze if you need

  • Mid-market to enterprise ecommerce and SaaS sites wanting granular, rules-based personalization
  • Teams already invested in HubSpot, Salesforce or Segment who want personalization wired directly in
