Map This does one job at a fair price: feed it a PDF or a pile of notes and get a structured mind map you can edit. At $5.99 a month for about fifty maps it is cheaper than the general diagramming tools that bolt mind mapping on. The signals around it are weak, though — no company named, a 2023 copyright line, and a FAQ whose answers do not open.

Pros

  • Free tier works without a card, if only for about two maps
  • Pro removes the file-size limit on PDF uploads entirely
  • Maps are editable and shareable after generation

MyMap.AI

A reasonable shortcut when you want structure out of a messy idea and cannot be bothered to drag boxes around. It is a thinking aid, not a diagramming tool: anything destined for a deck or a spec will need cleanup elsewhere.

  • Accepts URLs as input, which beats pasting long text into a chat box
  • Covers several diagram types (maps, flowcharts, timelines, SWOT) in one canvas

Cons
