What our research says

Kittl

The right pick if you sell print-on-demand or physical goods and need a real vector editor bolted to image generation. If you mostly need social posts and docs, Canva does more for less and Kittl's token meter will annoy you.

Pros

  • Genuine vector editing and text-on-path effects, not a template filler
  • Multiple frontier image models are selectable inside one plan
  • Commercial licence to 500,000 copies is included from the Pro tier, which suits POD sellers
  • Exports SVG and PDF plus 300 DPI raster from $19/mo

Cons

  • No API, so it cannot sit in an automated pipeline
  • AI tokens reset monthly with no rollover, and top-ups are only sold on higher tiers
  • Free tier is personal-use only and gives a single 200-token grant, not a monthly one
  • Web only — no desktop or mobile app

PlusVector

Most image generators hand you a PNG and leave vectorising as your problem; this one finishes the job, including background removal, and gives paying users an API to do it in bulk. The free tier is token at 5 credits, and the pipeline depends on third-party engines it does not control.

Pros

  • Delivers editable SVG, not just a raster export
  • Four concepts per credit, so one render gives real choice
  • Background removal and vectorisation are automatic
  • API access included on the $19 plan, and unused credits accumulate to a 500 cap

Cons

  • Free tier is only 5 credits a month with a hard cap of 5
  • Credits reset each billing cycle rather than rolling indefinitely
  • Depends on external engines like Midjourney, DALL-E and Flux
  • NSFW and bulk resale generation are prohibited under the terms

  • Designers who need scalable SVGs rather than raster art
