Use tool ↗About Keyword Insights
Keyword Insights pulls keyword ideas from autocomplete, People Also Ask and forum sources, then groups them into topic clusters by comparing live search results so that one page can target a whole group. From a cluster it generates a brief with an outline drawn from the ranking pages, and an assistant or agent mode can draft the article itself. Everything is metered in credits, and a public API exposes the clustering step.

Pros & cons of Keyword Insights
Buy it for the clustering engine, which is genuinely better than doing SERP-overlap grouping yourself in a spreadsheet; treat the AI writer as a bonus rather than a reason. Agencies planning content hubs across many sites get the most out of it, solo bloggers publishing four posts a month will burn less money on Surfer or Frase.
Pros
- SERP-overlap clustering is the core competency and it is fast at scale
- Public API means clustering can be driven from your own scripts
- Basic plan ships 10,000 credits, enough for a real clustering job not a demo
- Discovery pulls from Reddit, Quora and PAA, not just a keyword database
Cons
- No free tier - entry is a paid $1 trial that ends in pay-as-you-go
- Basic is single-seat, so any team needs the $99 Professional plan
- Full agent-written articles cost 1,200 credits, which drains an allowance quickly
- Volume and difficulty data is thinner than Ahrefs or Semrush
Best for
- Agencies turning a 20k-keyword export into a page-level content map
- In-house SEO leads building topic hubs and internal-linking plans
- Briefing freelance writers with SERP-derived outlines instead of gut feel
Not for
- Low-volume publishers who cluster a few hundred keywords a quarter
- Teams that want rank tracking and backlinks in the same subscription
- Anyone expecting an all-in content editor with on-page scoring live in a CMS
Watch out: Credits are the real currency and the allowance does not roll over - a single large clustering run can consume most of a month's Basic plan.
