KAYAK's natural-language trip planner sitting on top of its flight, hotel, car and cruise search
KAYAK.ai is the AI planning mode of the KAYAK travel metasearch site — the domain is a 301 redirect into KAYAK's own AI section. Instead of filling in date and destination fields you describe the trip you want and it searches and compares flights, hotels, car hire, packages and cruises across the providers KAYAK already indexes, then hands you off to the airline or booking site to pay. The surrounding page also carries KAYAK's older forecasting tools: airfare trend analysis, price alerts on watched routes and a flight tracker. It is free to travellers, funded the way metasearch always has been, by referral to the sites that take the booking.
Free to use. KAYAK is metasearch — you pay the airline, hotel or booking site, and KAYAK earns from referrals, so no subscription or plan page exists.
Use tool ↗The advantage over a general chatbot planning your trip is inventory: this one is answering from KAYAK's live search rather than from training data, so the flights it names actually exist at the prices shown. It is free. The limit is that it is a front end to metasearch — it finds and compares, it does not book, and its own page warns the AI can be wrong.
Watch out: kayak.ai is only a redirect; the product lives at kayak.com/ai/ and there is no separate app or subscription behind the .ai domain.
