Eugene's bet is that a text thread beats another app icon, and that memory you can open and edit beats memory hidden inside a model. Both are defensible, and the deliberate refusal to do coding or essays keeps it focused. Against that: no published price, no named company, and a service that only works where SMS reaches — currently the US and Canada.
