Use tool ↗About DePassport
DePassport is a mobile matching app that uses AI to connect people across several relationship types — dating, mentorship, gym partners, roommates, and friendships — based on profile details, interests, and goals rather than a swipe-based feed. It was founded in 2023 by Darl and Rosemary and is published under the developer entity Aleric International Company, LLC. The company states more than 50,000 active users and reports thousands of roommate, romantic, and gym-partner matches made through the app. A free tier covers basic matching; Gold and Platinum subscriptions add full access to advanced AI matching and exclusive community groups, though exact subscription prices are not published.

Pros & cons of DePassport
DePassport applies one AI-matching engine across several relationship categories instead of running separate apps for dating, roommates and networking, and it claims a real user base. Since Gold and Platinum pricing isn't published, you can't compare the real cost of full access before downloading, and the app now appears to be Android-only.
Pros
- Covers five distinct matching categories (dating, mentorship, fitness, housing, friendship) in one app
- No swipe interface; matches are suggested directly
- Claims a substantial existing user base with matches across all categories, not just dating
Cons
- Gold and Platinum subscription prices are not disclosed anywhere on the site
- User and match count claims come from the company itself and aren't independently verified here
- The iOS listing linked from the site returns 404, and the Android app was last updated in July 2025
Best for
- People wanting one app for dating, roommate, and friend matching instead of several
- Users who dislike swipe-based matching interfaces
- Anyone comfortable with AI-driven suggestions over manual browsing
Not for
- Users who want to see subscription pricing before installing an app
- iPhone users, since the App Store link from the site no longer resolves
Watch out: The site still advertises iOS and Android, but only the Google Play listing is live; confirm the Gold/Platinum price inside the app before subscribing.
