What our research says

DecEptioner

A detector-evasion rewriter with an unusually plain pitch: it names the detectors it aims to beat and prices word volume in tiers from $10 a month. The free tier is enough to test whether the output survives your own detector. The real problems are not technical — the vendor is anonymous, detector evasion breaks most schools' academic-integrity rules, and every detector update can invalidate the whole product overnight.

Pros

  • Free tier of 1500 rewriter words needs no card and shows the output quality up front
  • Word allowances and per-request caps are stated plainly for every tier
  • Chrome extension in addition to the web app, with 30-day rewrite history on all plans
  • API access included on Premium and on any annual plan

Cons

  • No company, founder or country is named anywhere on the site
  • Detector evasion is a moving target — any detector update can reset the claim
  • API is withheld from monthly Basic and Standard subscribers
  • The free tier caps a single rewrite at 400 words, too short for most documents

Humanize AI

Treat this as a rewrite-and-check bundle, not as a guaranteed way to beat detectors, because detector behaviour shifts constantly and no vendor controls it. For graded academic work the consequences land on you, not the tool.

Pros

  • Bundles detector, plagiarism and grammar tools instead of charging for each
  • API included from the $14 tier, uncommon in this category
  • Side-by-side comparison makes each rewrite reviewable
  • Free tier is large enough to judge output quality before paying

Cons

  • Free plan caps every individual check at 300 words
  • Humanizer and AI-writer budgets are separate, so one exhausts first
  • Rewrites tend to flatten voice and can introduce awkward phrasing
  • Effectiveness against detectors is unstable and impossible to verify

  • Testing how brittle a given AI detector actually is
  • Bulk rewriting where per-word cost matters more than style

Choose Humanize AI if you need

  • Agencies cleaning up bulk AI drafts before client delivery
  • Non-native writers smoothing machine-translated copy
  • Teams wanting humanizer, detector and plagiarism checks on one invoice
